Afro-Heritage Broadcasting & Entertainment Awards – AHBEA is an annual event established in 2015 to appreciate, honor and celebrate eminent Africans who have contributed to the development of the race through their crafts and talents, especially in the entertainment and broadcasting industries.

This award is named after our company, Afro- Heritage Entertainment Company-a duly registered entertainment company in the state of Texas, USA. With years of experience in artistes’ management, entertainment and promotion, our events are always hosted in the United State of America with eminent participants from all over the world. Notable personalities, icons and guru of various sectors, captain of industries, business tycoon, speakers across discipline and many more national and international celebrities have witnessed our events in the last five editions. No doubt, our history and success stories speak for us.

This annual event keeps improving yearly through the conscientious efforts of the Founder and the consistent team of astute professionals. The clearly stated aims and objectives centres on encouraging young Africans growing up in the Diaspora- that Africans have successful people in different fields who can be looked up to as role models not only the Diaspora but all over the world.

3. Award of Recognition for Top music & movie directors, producers, marketers, artist managers with highest level of recognition in the industry.
4. Humanitarian/Community Service Awards. For Outstanding African who have had positive impact in the lives of our people in our community.
5. Posthumous Awards to honour late actors and entertainers that have made remarkable contributions to the community, especially the entertainment industry in their lifetime.
6. Lifetime Achievement Awards: Given out once in five (5) years to appreciate individuals who deserve much more,  considering their contribution to the development of our community especially in their chosen field.

The President, owner and founder of this organization and event, HRM Oba Yisa ‘Sola Adeniyi Olaniyan, Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom, who until his recent appointment as a first class Oba in Ogun State, Nigeria was based in Houston Texas as a seasoned promoter/producer and businessman of repute. He has been in the entertainment business for over 20 years and has planned many successful and outstanding musical events and shows in the USA with the team of committed planning committee members from different backgrounds but mostly in the entertainment industry.
